2/6/17

I'm going to keep a journal of sorts where I keep track of everything good or bad perpetrated by Trump and his minions.  Here is my entry for February 6.

In last night's Tweetstorm I have  been able to learn the following things about Trump:

-When confronted by Bill O'Reilly with the fact that his guy pal Putin is a thug and a known murderer, Trump responded that there are killers in our country as well.  He, of course, could not come up with any specific names of killers in government, but he did go on to assure Papa Bill that America was just as bad as Russia.  This probably did not make those two great Washington whores, Mitch McConnell and Paul Ryan, happy when figuring out how they were going to defend this action without looking like complete boobs.

-Trump's plans to investigate voter fraud seem to be petering out.  The only fraudulent voters he can find are members of his staff.

-Oh, and those plans to repeal and replace Obamacare?  Trump assured us all that he had something great ready to go into place right away.  Well, not so much any more.  Trump is suggesting now that replacement will be at least a year away.  What about all those Obamacare recipients out there?  They seem to be in a state of Limbo.  I'm sure they're getting lots of sympathy from Paul Ryan who is assuring them that at least Obamacare is no longer in a death spiral.  I'm sure that makes everyone who voted for Boss Tweet happy.

-Trump, panicked over the Washington judge's stay order, insisted that bad people were pouring in.  He, of course, had no evidence of this.  None.

-Trump tweeted that any negative polls (meaning polls that reflect poorly on Boss Tweet) are fake news.

Non Tweet News

-Pence, on a Sunday morning news show, thought it was "refreshing" that people could understand the President's mind.  I'm sorry, but we've already tried explaining to my five year old granddaughter what Trump is trying to do and she is having a difficult time understanding the President's mind on any number of issues.

-Interesting to note that Elaine Chao, newly appointed and approved Transportation Secretary,  received $50,000 for a five minute speech to a wing of the Muhajadeen, a wing that has a particularly efficient record of killing American soldiers.  Of course, it must have been alright because Rudy Giulani received a similar amount for his speech to the assembled terrorists as well.

-The Colorado legislature is considering a repeal of the prohibition against switch blade knives due to pressure by Knife Rights Advocates!  As Greg Dobbs suggested in his column in today's Post, we now have a fitting adjunct to the NRA, and apparently just as crazy, the NKA.

-In a speech at MacDill Air Force Base, Boss Tweet said that acts of terror are not being reported.  "The very, very dishonest press doesn't want to report it."  That must be why none of us heard of the Bowling Green Massacre.

-And finally, Sean Spicer said just this morning that Saturday Night Live was being mean to him and to the President.  Hey Sean.  Go fuck yourself.
